Dry and Damaged Hair
Dry hair lacks moisture; damaged hair has a broken cuticle. Tara treats each with the actives that carry receipts. The hydration work is done by the base, a full NMF reconstitution (sodium PCA, urea, amino acids, lactic acid) with panthenol and hydrolysed protein, rebuilding the natural moisture factors hair loses to washing. For structural repair, ceramide NG sits in the sphinganine-based ceramide family native to the hair shaft, and ceramides of that class bind chemically damaged hair and reduce breakage (Bernard, Int J Cosmet Sci 2002).
What carries the claim, and what does not
Strawberry has no peer-reviewed hair evidence; it is the antioxidant and sensory signature of the line, while the measurable work is done by the NMF and protein base. Argan deposits along the cuticle and adds shine, but it does not penetrate the cortex or rebuild the fibre from within (Rele & Mohile, J Cosmet Sci 2003).
